Gordon King

Gordon King was born in London in 1939. After the war he studied Life Drawing and Painting at Reading University Art School, and later trained as an illustrator at Carlton Studios. After working freelance and developing his portraits and paintings he moved into a studio in Buckinghamshire.

Gordon King has had several one-man exhibitions and is now regarded as one of Britains finest contemporary watercolourists. Signed Limited Editions of his favourite subjects, girls in romantic settings, using his daughter and friends as the models have proved so popular that many of the Editions are sold out upon publication.
